Will a jet change make the Predator 212 minibike faster ?

Will a jet change make the Predator 212 minibike faster? Changed the jets on the Mikuni carburetor on the Predator 212, to see if it would make the minibike run faster. Did a top speed run and things didn't turn out as planned?
